    Film & Television Production, MFA 
    Meet Michael Kang, the Graduate Program Director for the MFA in Film & Television Production program. Kang is a Korean American filmmaker currently living in Los Angeles with his two young daughters and a neurotic chihuahua mix. His first feature film "The Motel" premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. “The Motel” is the recipient of the Humanitas Prize as well as the top jury prizes from numerous festivals including SDAFF Best Narrative Feature, “The Motel” was also nominated for Best First Feature Film by The Independent Spirit Awards. Michael was honored with an N.E.A. Artist’s Residency Grant at The MacDowell Colony. Michael is the recipient of the Geri Ashur Award in screenwriting through the New York Foundation for the Arts.


    Writing and Producing for Television, MFA
    Meet Mike F.X. Daley, the Graduate Program Director of the MFA in Writing and Producing for Television program. Daley is a television writer whose credits include CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and the CW show Reaper, where he wrote the series finale. He’s worked for Netflix on Maniac, HBO on The Leftovers and Big Love, ABC on Secrets & Lies and Resurrection, TNT on Murder In The First, STARZ on Boss, NBC on Crossing Jordan, Comedy Central on That’s My Bush! and FOX on The X-Files.

    Writing for the Screen, MFA
    Meet Weiko Lin, the Graduate Program Director for the MFA in Writing for the Screen program. Weiko is a writer/producer and author who explore Asian diaspora and create global narrative content. Currently, he is developing two Disney+ Asia Pacific original one-hour series and a feature biopic about an American flying ace of World War II with Oscar nominee Andrew Lazar (AMERICAN SNIPER) attached to produce. A Sundance Collab Advisor, he was Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Nicholl Fellowship Finalist and Samuel Goldwyn Writing Award recipient.
